Global Business Solutions (GBS) provides computer services to business, education and government agencies. The company was looking to carve out a brand niche that distinguishes itself from competitors and GBS can proudly take ownership of. More specifically, GBS needed a brand that solidifies the company within each vertical market it serves, takes “IT” to a higher level and implies the breadth and depth of GBS offerings.
The pepper group partnered to develop a naming hierarchy and brand architecture which strengthened the GBS brand persona (both internally and externally). Working with a design firm, alliance, we developed a creative design system that included applications to business cards, letterhead, envelopes, forms, signage, uniforms, corporate apparel, sales collateral, presentation templates, a website and social media applications.
GBS rolled out its new branding platform to staff in early 2013 and proceeded to extend it to external audiences throughout the year. The company has received positive results including improved internal stakeholder buy-in to company mission and vision as well as more streamlined sales approach when pursuing multi-vertical market business. Business continues to grow and expand. The pepper group was able to take a very complex business model and simplify it through a solid branding program.
