Offered is this beautiful antique French Faience hand painted floral Butter Pat dish and butter knife.It is marked on the back with France. Made in France in the late 1800's to early 1900's, it is marked on the back simply with "FRANCE", after 1922 they had to write "Made in France" so this is a very early store piece!It is expertly hand painted with a beautiful bouquet of pink and purple flowers and green leaves in the center.The sharply invert scalloped rim has a pinkish-red border and green and black bands in between pinkish-red pillars.It is in excellent antique condition with a small nip off the back tip as seen.It measures 4.5 inches at the widest point of the tips.
