The store Saw Fish

The largest of the six or so species of Saw fish is found around reefs at depths down to about 10m/33ft, although it often occurs in brackish or even freshwater conditions. It may sometimes venture into deeper water to reach offshore islands. Like other Sawfish, the store snout is extended to form a long rostrum bearing sharp , horizontal teeth, which it uses to rake up the sea bed , searching for hidden prey,or bottom-living fish-has been found, the saw fish disables it with sideways swipes of its rostrum.
