This Australian sterling silver teaspoon is in excellent pre-owned condition. Minimal signs of use. It comes with its original case, itself in excellent condition. It is stamped on the back of the handle, "Sterling Silver Apex." The spoon handle is in the Old English pattern. Apex silver flatware was produced by G&E Rodd in Melbourne, beginning in the mid-1920's. The spoon sits snugly on a velvet base, the lid lined in ivory colored silk. The case is covered in an alligator patterned rexine and snaps tightly shut.
