One bowl is thinner around rim and the wooden knot is visible but that's how it was made. It's not a crack it's part of the wood itself. See last photo of what it looks like. This set is vintage and lovely to serve a nice salad in. All pieces have been cleaned and a high performance food grade mineral oil has been applied to each piece to nourish and beautifully preserve them for years to come. The food grade mineral oil keeps the wood natural and attractive so the set doesn't dry out or crack. This set is beautiful for its age. Normal use and well taken care of. You get all seven pieces.
