store This pair of pitchers is very rare (I haven't found any in my research). Minton's seems to have more majolica ware than earthenware. The backstamp dates them from the second and third decade of the 20th century (they came from the home of a 94 year old woman who was born in the house).

Minton china has been made in the Staffordshire region of England from 1793 to the present. The firm became part of the Royal Doulton Tableware Group in 1968, but the wares continued to be marked Minton.

c1912 to 1950
