Murano Glass Cigar Ashtray - Multi-colored store - by AVeM - 1950s | Murano Art Glass | Cigar Ashtray

A gorgeous vintage 1950s Arte Vetraria Muranese (AVeM) hand-blown art glass cigar ashtray. The ashtray is made with a base of opalescent glass, to which the glassblower added thin layers of blue in three spots. Top that off with copper aventurine throughout the glass The two ends are uniquely and tightly curled. This piece is a keeper for sure.

Dimensions: 8.5"L x 6.5"W x 3.5"H. Weight: 2 1/2 lbs.

No maker's mark or label. Most likely an AVeM or Fratelli Toso piece. In excellent condition, with only the slightest signs of wear due to previous use and age.
