This linocut was made in several steps: first by creating a drawing on newsprint, transferring the drawing to the linoleum, carving the linoleum using metal tools, and finally rolling and printing the final image onto paper.
Because these linocut prints are made by hand without a press, each will have variations and store textures distinct from one another. The final product that you receive will be slightly different from the image displayed and will be completely unique!
This print is a tribute to the open road, to friendship, and to the unique intimacy that develops between people who travel together. May you have adventure, beautiful scenery, and beloved people to share it all with.
