Noritake China Chocolate Pot Demitasse Cocoa Set Dresden Blue Florals 11 Piece This gorgeous porcelain hand-painted hot chocolate set consists of a large pot with lid, six cups with handles and six saucers. In total, including the chocolate pot lid, there are 11 pieces. The price is for the entire set. It was made by Noritake in Japan, and distributed to the U.S. by Morimura Brothers sometime in the 1920s. The hot chocolate pot and the cups are decorated with two different floral designs store. On one side is a larger design with two delicate roses, and on the other, a single rose and leaf. The flowers are beautifully painted in soft pinks, greens and browns. Even the lid has two different floral designs. Each piece is also painted with a very pale pastel blue band or two and is accented in gold. One of the saucers has a chip on the underside. Everything else is in remarkable condition for an approx. 100-year-old set, with hardly any wear or loss to the gold paint. It is rare to find a set.
