Buffalo Bill Cody began touring with his Buffalo Bill's Wild West show on May 19, 1883. The show was the first performance/demonstration of its type, featuring frontier style outdoor shooting displays, rodeo events and theatrical reenactments. The popular show toured the U.S. and Europe until 1913.
