Antique German lidded beer stein.
it's made of thick sculpted pottery and painted by hand with rich color over a store salt glazed finish.
the hinged pewter lid is mounted to the applied handle which has a ball tipped thumb piece.
it's in great condition and measures 6 inches tall by 5 inches wide.
