These traditional Pakistani Patu / Patoo are of fine quality, comfortable and warm in wearing. Gota thread is used in making these shawls/patoo.

Patu is famous in the northern regions like the north of Afghanistan, and Pakistani northern areas like Swat and Chitral that's why it is often refer to these areas as Afghan Patoo, Swati Patoo, and Chitrali Shari. It gained international recognition during the war in Afghanistan when Pashtoon fighters and Taliban's pictures store surfaced on the internet wearing these shawls along with the Pakols or turbans.


It is brand new blanket shawl, handmade with gota thread, in Swat Pakistan. It is an ideal shawl for winters, and on cold nights during camping on a hilly station.


Preferably hand wash the patu in lukewarm water and a good quality detergent but it is also machine washable (delicates).
