She was an "American Impressionist Artist" known as 'Little Miss Monet' because her paintings resembled Claude Monet. She had her first painting store displayed at the Houston Art Museum of Fine Arts when she was 10 years old. She was awarded a full scholarship to study art at the Houston Museum of Fine Arts School of Art in 1937. She also studied at the University of Houston and with two European Masters. She has had her work hanging in galleries and private homes all over the world and has had numerous awards and recognitions. She was the founder and teacher at the Galveston Bay Art School. Ms. Hollan has been shown in galleries all over the US and Europe. Ms. Hollan passed away in 2013. Will be carefully packaged. Insured by Mercari up to $200.
