This listing is for a custom, made-to-order, unframed 8 x 10" portrait collage. I will be creating a freehand cutout using the hand-painted paper (up-cycled from my little daughter and son's learning through art time) to design and make a one-of-a-kind work of art for you. You and I will collaborate to make the most amazing family portrait art.

What do I need from you?

- When purchasing the listing, please send me multiple photos of the people that will be portrayed in the portrait. I need close up photos for facial details and whole body photos for scale. Please include a description of everyone (name, eye & hair color, age, etc.). This helps me be as accurate as possible.

- We will discuss what clothes you want each person to be portrayed wearing in the portrait.

- The art I create comes unframed. We will discuss if you plan on using matting when you frame your art and decide how to scale the portrait accordingly.

- I will show you what the portrait looks like before I mail it to you. At this time, I will ask you to approve of the art. If it isn't exactly what you want, please help me understand what I can do to make it wonderful for you.

*Important note*

Please be as specific as possible when placing your order and when communicating with me before I begin the project. I am more than happy to make reasonable accommodations, but there are certain things I can't do once the art is glued down. My goal is for you to be 100% ,thrilled out of your mind, with store the art I create for you, but I need you to very clear with all your desires and expectations.

All the paper used is hand-painted (most of it by little children). Please allow for color variations and slight imperfections. I do my best to create custom skin colors and utilize the whimsical color creations painted by my children. Please handle the art with great care. Everything is glued down and individual pieces may flake off if you're rough with it. I encourage you to keep it in it's protective plastic sleeve (that I include with your order) until you frame it.
