1992 Fleer Update Factory Sealed Set. Price is FIRM. No Offers store, Please. Includes VERY scarce Ken Griffey, Jr. , part of a 4 card “Headliners" Set in the set. Also contains scarce Rookie Cards of MIKE PIAZZA, Tim Wakefield, Jeff Kent. This is by far the scarcest update ever produced. The 90/91 Fleer Updates were a bomb for hobby dealers. In 1992, very few hobby dealers ordered Update sets. Fleer wanted to reestablish their credibility with dealers, so they produced ONLY the amount of sets ordered. Only hobby dealers could ordered them. The result was the 1992 Fleer Update was a gold mine for those that ordered them. So few existed that demand was way more than supply. The price soared and those lucky hobby dealers that did order them made a killing. Fleer admitted that fewer sets were made in 1992 than in 1984, which was always the jewel of all update sets.
