70s Quilted Daren's Bag shoulder purse and matching cloche hat. Daren is store a long-standing artisan from Michigan who is active in the Ann Arbor art fair scene beginning in the early 70s. My mom was a big collector and I'm helping her downsize. This set is made of a soft and pliable velveteen that is quilted and has a floral, print and gorgeous and moody shades of purple, plum and red on black. The shoulder bag has Velcro closure, black fabric lining and lots of pouch pockets. It measures 10 1/2 inches tall and 12 inches wide at the widest point with a 9.5 inch strap drop. It's hard to measure the height, but if I measure the interior brim, it is approximately 21.5 inches around. It is made of the same quilted velveteen material. There is some fluff in the Velcro that I have not picked out but it's still closes well.
