This listing is for a white straw tricorn hat with red burgundy trim and red, white and green glass beads dangling around the brim. The backside of the hat has a green metal leaf and both sides have a silver toned arched leaf pin that puts the final touches on your renaissance or pirate tricorn hat. This tricorn is one size fits most.

Historically, tricornes had a rather broad brim, pinned up on either side of the head and at the back, producing a triangular shape. The hat was typically worn with one point facing forward, though it was not at all unusual for soldiers, who would often rest a rifle or musket on their left shoulder, to wear the tricorne pointed above their left eyebrow to allow better clearance.
