Product code: Lot 3 Blue store White Stripes Cloth Sails Vintage Pirates 6274 Caribbean Clipper
Lot of 3 genuine, original cloth sails for vintage Pirates 1 set 6274, Caribbean Clipper, first store released in 1989 as part of the Imperial Soldiers subtheme. The rare sails listed are in very good condition overall considering their age. They have no tears, very little fraying, sit flat & are relatively stiff, though not as stiff as they would have been new. I'm guessing that they will have a nice "drape" rigged onto a ship, without too much sagging, though I can't say that for sure. 1 photo shows the largest sail standing upside down on its own, to demonstrate its stiffness. The white stripes are slightly off-white from age, with just a few faint translucent brownish spots. These are so faint they were difficult to capture in photos, but the last few photos hopefully will convey this. There are also a few rather faint creases.
