Stunning antique French Belle Époque period paste silver swirl brooch, with a lovely sparkly paste silver suspended central long drop. Which sparkles beautifully when worn and with movement.
This beautiful and classy brooch dates from the 1900, when the era of heavy Victorian jewellery was passing, and a lighter and more decorative form of jewellery was produced. Always classical.
The antique French brooch is in a good condition, with the sparkly paste in a good store condition and all original. They are of a good uniform antique paste colour. The brooch is in unmarked but tested silver, as was usual at this time, and the pin is good and secure. I have only minimally cleaned the silver as I like to leave it in its original condition. It can easily be polished with a silver cloth.
