This piece is adorned with a beautiful freehand drawing of a serpent eating its tail.
The image is a freehand drawing using a technique called Pyrography. So each one is slightly different. Customization are welcome. The image is drawn with a soldering iron, which has created a lovely embossed feel on the cover.
The Ouroboros is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its own tail. Originating in ancient Egyptian iconography, the ouroboros entered western tradition via Greek magical tradition and was adopted as a symbol in Gnosticism and Hermeticism and most notably in alchemy.
The journal has 100 pages, plenty of room for lots of creative meanderings.
