Wooden Botanical Coptic Journal, store Handbound Sketchbook, Hand bound Journal, Wooden Notebook by Peg and Awl
Botanical Wood Journal
Here at Peg and Awl we are traditionally store quite traditional. Yet we have lately enjoyed experimenting with modernity – combining the traditional with the modern – and it has proved quite fun!
So here we shall introduce, Emmett – our new laser machine. With Emmett's assistance, we have been able to add some of our favourite details to our Coptic Bound books. Upon this cover is a beautiful laser-engraved interpretation of a botanical illustration from the 1700s.
The Coptic Bound Journal, hand-stitched with antique flax linen upholstery thread and covers of sustainably-sourced Walnut is great journal for sketching and writing and opens flat for easy use. We use line-free Strathmore drawing paper – thick, hand-torn, acid-free pages that work perfectly with ink, pens both thick and superfine, pencil, charcoal, and a myriad of other mediums.
Each journal cover will vary in grain and indications of the wood's prior use.
