This rare, antique Garfield pattern ironstone serving platter has managed to survive since 1891. It was made by Cumberlidge & Humphreys, in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, in England. There is a brown floral pattern that surrounds the platter, comprising what looks like daisy flowers and leaves. There is a beautiful stamp on the underside of the platter: a circle with a crown on top. Within the circle are the letters "Garfield, C&H, Tunstall". Below the circle is the word "England", and beneath that "R. No. 170799. The serving platter measures 16" wide by 12" in store depth.
