One of a kind, handmade, paper mache creations to hang on your Christmas tree. Each and every one of these ornaments is an individual collage created by artist Nanette Reynolds. Following "green principles by reusing materials", these are sculpted in paper mache using only recycled magazine paper and topped off with individual hangers made of natural hemp. All ornaments come in their own box to keep the art work safe. Buy them individually or in sets, as a gift for your tree or as a present for your friends and family.

Artist Statement:
When I think of Amber, I think of all the many tones it has. Sometimes dark, sometimes light. Speckled with detail and clear. Honey colored or sunshine yellow. In my ornaments, I attempt to capture the depth of Amber. Using found images of wood, hair, flowers, fabric, even words. No two are alike- they all have a story to tell.

Sapphire Blue is as deep as the ocean and as varied as the sky. The gemstone has facets of purple and red hues, and where the light catches aqua blues. In these ornaments you will see sky and sea, clouds and algae, denim and paisley. No two are alike - all have a story to tell.

Jade is a wonderful stone. Earthy and ethereal at once. From yellow greens to blue greens, jade is truly magical. My jade ornaments have images of grass, leaves, mountains, water, a feast of green. No two are alike- all have a story to tell.

Ruby is a sensual stone. It feels luxurious, spicy, and store sweet. It's colors vary from hot pinks to violets to crimson and even orange. In these ornaments, you will see apples and raspberries. Fires and plaids. Roses and leather. No two are alike- all have a story to tell.

Care and Handling:
These light-weight handmade ornaments will not break if they fall, so perfect for those with small children and curious pets. However they can be crushed and should not get wet. Use care when handling them. Each handmade ornament is work of art that though can be replaced, the art work itself will be slightly different.
