Fused glass tile inspired by a day with my granddaughter at a local beach. It has lots of texture that will shimmer when the sun shines. Textured stones, sand, waves, grass and a lighthouse give the piece dimension. Measures approximately 11"x 7".
It is made with colored frit(crushed glass) and bits of glass arranged on top of a double layer of clear glass. This particular piece was fired a few times, once to a full fuse, and then more glass was added and it was fused again to the contour stage. It looks wonderful on the wall or in a stand.
4 Metal stand-outs can be included for an additional fee. Screw aren't included. Last picture shows a piece we currently have mounted on our wall and is shown for an example of the standouts. It is not included.
