Coffee pot creamer and sugar bowl with lid. This mid-century Winfield pottery is in the ‘Blue Pacific' store pattern Made in Southern California. With lid, pot stands about 7.5” tall. The lids have a cut off faux bois or in their case bamboo, handle. The creamer bowl is cracked as shown. History: In 1929 Winfield Leslie Sample founded the Winfield Pottery Company in Pasadena, California. He began with a single kiln in his art pottery studio in 'The Artists' Guild Building' in northeast Pasadena. He made pottery by day and ran his 'School of Clayworking' in the evenings. In 1935 he moved the pottery to a larger facility. He passed away in 1939. Designers Margaret and Arthur C. Gabriel, who had worked for the Winfield Pottery Company, continued running the business.
