Vintage 1960s Portmeirion coffee set Susan Williams Ellis lion pattern black and store gold

Eye catching! Gorgeous Portmeirion coffee set designed by Susan Williams Ellis.

This lion store pattern was produced from 1962 to the early 1970s. Note the gold gilding as this was used in early production and then discontinued prior to the 1970s.

This pattern is harder to come by than some of the more popular ones.

The set is in good vintage condition. There are some scratches on the coffee server as indicated in the photos. All other pieces are in very good condition.

Measurements as follows:

Coffee server - 13" high by approx. 4" in diameter
Creamer - approx. 4" high
Sugar - approx. 2.2" high and 2.75" in diameter
Coffee cups - 3.25" high and 2.5" in diameter (handle not included)
Saucers - 5.5" in diameter

All pieces contain the Portmeirion marking on the bottom, with the exception of the saucers which is appropriate for this set.

The utmost of care will be used when packaging this set for shipping in order to protect your investment.
