DESCRIPTION:
Think back to a time before microwaves. Crock pots took all of the hassle out of preparing a meal by allowing a person to put everything into one pot and create a stew or casserole or any other delicious family meal. Before crock pots, the trick was to create bakeware and such that could withstand the long time required to heat a meal, and then the abrupt temperature change when it was time to eat. Inferior products would crack, break or shatter. The technology at the time of this stunning piece was such that this example is what would have been cutting edge for its time! Notice how elegant the design, and how elegant the set looks. It is rare to find all three pieces in such fine condition
