I have been making these bags for many years. They originated when a friend returned with bright cotton yarn from Colombia S.A. as a gift for me. Sitting around a campfire one night store, I created a little bag styled after those I had seen from all over the world. I make up the pattern as I go. It is a very fulfilling and rewarding process for me; I feel as though the patterns spring from a creative source within me.
