Zebrawood (Zebrano) is a hardwood that is used for many decorative and artistic challenges, from guitars to interior decoration in Cadillacs and Mercedes Benz automobiles. It often used for high end exotic furniture. It is especially delightful for making decorative boxes. The contrasting brown and tan stripes result in striking desk or table décor. Zebrano trees are huge, growing to 150 feet tall and five feet in diameter. The wood is primarily imported from African countries such as Gabon, Cameroon and Congo. This particular box is a simple but elegant display of Zebrawood. I have a nice collection of Zebrano planks and veneer so if you have a larger decorative in mind please do not hesitate to write me.
