The lighting fixtures and lampshades L'escargot qui volle are entirely handmade in my workshop in Normandy. The rice or bamboo papers used for the lampshades are printed in the workshop with environmentally friendly inks using techniques such as monotype, linocut or intaglio engraving. Each print is unique and therefore your luminaire is unique. The papers are handmade papers of the LAMALI brand. The textiles used are workshop remains, preferably cotton, silk, or natural material. The feet are turned in France.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The transparency of the papers and fabrics used by the flying snail, makes your luminaire, a real object of atmosphere that illuminates. Suitable as a bedside lamp tower lamps, provide sufficient lighting to read and soft light to wake up.

These are complete lamps ready to be installed: they are composed of a flat foot in raw beech wood turned surmounted by a cylindrical shade of the same diameter. The heights vary according to the size of the lampshade and the desired balance.


DESCRIPTION OF THE LAMPSHADE:

Cylindrical lampshade in paper and fabrics laminated on polyphane. The papers used are printed by hand by the flying snail, using the monotype technique. For these patchwork luminaires I use papers of different thicknesses, and I marry the type of printing (interlacing / feather) with precious fabrics: cotton quilt, silk, embroidery, lace ribbon, soutache and braids, for a random composition that is similar to the exquisite corpse. Each luminaire is unique: the composition and the unique printing of the prints, make your luminaire an exceptional piece, which will illuminate your interior with a soft and store pleasant light.

1-diameter 12cm, lampshade height 23cm, socket E14, total height 27cm.

- 2-MEDIUM:
diameter 15cm, height of the lampshade 30cm, socket E27, total height 35cm

-3- LARGE
- diameter 25cm height of the lampshade 25cm: for this model the foot is surmounted by a 5cm upper that raises the lampshade to bring it more lightness and elegance, socket E27, total height 34cm
