This little girl is as cute as a button, with her fringe bangs and Bandu Knot up-do, which has little spiral curls in between the knots. Wearing a cozy knit sweater with functioning buttons over her special Teddy bear theme dress, she is simply adorable! The cutest, tiny felt bear, with embroidered features in contrasting thread, is sewn to the bodice of her palest pink cotton twill, cap sleeve dress. He has a tiny, pale pink satin ribbon bow tie! A textural rickrack with a sheen to it is sewn to the hem and collar edges, creating an interesting, tiny scallop effect. Coordinating, tiny velveteen shirt for her sweet, jointed plush Teddy companion has a Velcro back closure and a bold bear paw on store the front. Little brown paw prints are embroidered on her skirt in a diagonal path, suggesting the bodice bear made them on the way up to his destination on her velvet ribbon waistband. Her custom shoes look so cozy and comfortable, in the same fabric as her dress, with pale pink bow accents of the same pink ribbon used for the bodice bear. The pair is such fun to pose together and have a lovely, soft color harmony!
MY MISSION: I provide a doll for you that is fully ready for display on arrival at your home, beautiful and sturdy. Any flaws I detect which I could not remedy will be documented in the listing and doll priced accordingly. I keep extensive computer files on each listing with doll and box images.)The boxes, being the original homes for the dolls, are in variable condition, dependent on the original owner's care and storage. I will always mention box condition with the listing, or sleep eyes that open manually.
MY PROCESS: I remove from the box to re-style the hair and inspect/correct for anything that might be remiss. I feel this step is more important than listing "never removed from box." My patrons will know there will be no loose snaps , no tangled locks, damaged apron strings, no fragile, weakened rubber bands,( I re-string when needed) no stained or faded clothing or problems with undergarments, no necklaces trapped in the neck or tresses. I restring with elastic cord, the preferred archival choice of "doll doctors."
MY PRICES: I calculate on: How readily available (or, conversely, hard to find,) whether complete with all accessories, my costs, my labor, condition of restored doll returned to box after completing the work. To include a doll stand with your order, please add $1.00 to your total.
