To celebrate Mickey's 80th anniversary on November 18, 2008 & continue the tradition started by John Hench, the Walt Disney Archives conducted a portrait competition among the Company's talented artists, animators, awarding the honor to Art Director Paul Felix from Walt Disney Animation Studios. His original portrait, entitled "Putting a Smile on the World," is a 24x36” oil on canvas Comes with Certificate of Authenticity printed in December 2008 as part of the Walt Disney Archives Collection & exclusive 2009 Charter Year collectible member gift Lithograph measures at 20”x30” Printed on archival 65# Cougar Natural Cover stock, with fade-resistant, oil-based process inks New, never store displayed but has wear along borders and one tear on upper corner which is taped on the backside as depicted in photos. Purchased directly from D23 and still curled up inside original D23 packaging/shipping roll. *Part of a private estate collection of Disney memorabilia from an avid Disney Collector.
