Store Jar of Old Antique Buttons!

I inherited this old jar of buttons. The jar is not so old, but the buttons are! I washed the buttons and jar and saw many treasures! I saw mother of pearl and bone buttons in all sizes. Some colored glass buttons and beads, some clear. store I saw a button made of what looked like two layers of ivory or bone, like a doublet, which was primitive. A few wooden or wood looking buttons as well as several types of tin buttons are mixed throughout. And lastly some bakelite and early plastic buttons and buckles are also peppered throughout.
