store This braided handfasting cord was a labor of love. I wanted to incorporate these wildly colored USB cords somehow and knew as a fellow nerd/geek/IT weirdo/gamer that SOMEONE was gonna love the concept, here. Especially considering USB cords are meant for a universal connection- it's in the name. <3
This cord is made with recycled USB cables, grosgrain ribbon, hand dyed lace, rickrack, and satin, in shades of lipstick pink, bright orange, coral, turquoise, lavender, and mango yellow.

In keeping with the spirit of the handfasting binding you "for a year and a day", it is wrapped at the ends with 12 pearls- wishes for your first year together! All cords are approximately 7ft in length, with approximately 5 feet of tieable length (excluding tassels.) Tassels are bouncy like a good hair day and ends are cut and singed to keep them from unraveling.
