A terrific discovery!

This is a portable board which would have been given to salesmen employed by the KAYE HARDWARE CO., to show store owners their wares. It's remarkable that all 24 miniature samples are still in place and it would make a tremendous focal point for your vintage shop window or as an authentic photography prop. Perfect too for anyone working in the hardware industry.

It is possible that the brass hinges could be removed and used in a miniature craft project however the item is on sale here purely as it is. The hinges have been attached to the board for a long, long time and it's perhaps not wise to dislodge them. The choice (and risk) is yours.

Otherwise this is in wonderful condition. The semi-flexible board is strong and as stated, the hinges themselves are firmly in-situ.

We have another KAYE'S salesman's sample board listed as shown on the last photo. It's slightly different but equally fabulous.
