store For sale is a hard to find vintage pin tumbler WWII-era padlock made for the United States Marine Corps by Yale. These padlocks were used by enlisted Marine Corps service members assigned to large USN combat vessels such as aircraft carrier's, battleships, and cruisers during WWII, Korea, and the Southeast Asia War. These locks were keyed differently than similar Yale pin tumbler locks that were issued to USN crew members aboard the same ship and are more rare than the ones that were issued to Navy sailors because each ship would only have a few Marine Corps members on board. Brass body and shackle. In excellent mechanical condition with a shackle that pops open easily. Body has a few very minor dings consistent with age and use. Comes with 2 operable Yale keys.
