Store Butterfly

Encaustic painting. Mounted onto cradled board with several layers of encaustic medium (beeswax with damar resin) applied. Each layer is fused with a heat gun or blow torch. Shellac is applied and burned on the top giving it the lacy look. Ready to hang or set on a shelf. store
