Beautiful 1950's Mint Green & Grey Carlton Ware Handpainted Australian store Pattern Tea Set. Purple Raised Magnolia decoration. Ideal Gift

This is one of Carlton Wares most iconic ranges, the shape of the cups and saucers is elliptical, which makes for a very unusual design, whilst the two-tone colour palette is quite striking. The cups are small and delicate and the whole set would fit perfectly into a 1950's themed house.

Comprises: 4 cups and saucers, teapot, sugar bowl, cream jug, small cake plate or tea pot stand

There is some slight damage as the teapot lid has been broken and reglued and the teapot spout has a small chip. The other items are all perfect.

This came from a local farm house in North store Wales, but looks to be much more at home in a minimalist style loft apartment.
