Product code: He Leadeth Me Wooden Hymn store Carving Psalm 23

He Leadeth Me was written by Joseph Gilmore in 1862 during the Civil War. He was preaching on Psalm 23 and after one of the services, the words of this hymn came to mine and scribbled down the lines. Unbeknown to him, his wife sent his poem to be published and 3 years later found his hymn in a church hymnal!

He leadeth me, O blessed thought
O words with heavenly comfort fraught
Whate'er I do, where'er I be
Still 'tis God's hand that leadeth me

**************Go to www.flipsnack.com/9C7ACF6D75E/ and view several of our hymnals to choose the hymn and style you would like****** All the books we use are in the public domain.

* Our hymns, prayers, scripture, creeds, and other documents such as devotionals and hand written notes are all carved into premium hard maple. These store carved documents have a beautiful "old-timey" look due to the fonts and quality of the printing process of the time that underscore the timelessness and enduring value of the messages contained in these great treasures. Just as the hymns have stood the test of time, they are now carved permanently into rich solid wood.

* We use stains that best accentuate the striking features in the wood such as bird's eye, quilting and tiger stripe.

* A keyhole is cut in the back for hanging and a wooden dowel is supplied to be fit into another hole in the back for standing the carving on a flat surface.
