Japanese mino ware pottery bowl. Vintage Modernist Sakuzan hand painted store bowl. Organic architectural clay bowl Minimalist bowl. Japandi decor
This is an exceptional modernist mino ware clay pottery bowl designed for Sakuzan circa 1990s in Japan. This minimalist bowl features an abstract conical with a deep curved rim. The white clay is hand painted with light gray vertical stripes in equal distance around the bowl. Each gray stripe has two thinner corresponding black lines on either side. The effect is just gorgeous. This striking piece would look amazing with many decor styles including: Scandi/minimalist, mid century modern and of course, Japandi. store The bowl measures 7.5 inches in diameter and 3.5 inches tall. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. There is a small brown (perhaps burn) mark on the underside that cannot be seen from an upright position. Excellent vintage condition.
