Here we have Zaardoom, the evil villain from the 1985 Defenders of store the Planets toy line. This is the gray body variant; he comes with the original harness (in red). The figure stands approximately 5 3/4 inches tall. Good vintage condition with light playwear. The crotch piece is damaged above the right leg, still stands with no issue. Defenders of the Planets was released by Sparkle Toys in the mid-1980s. It was yet another attempt by toymakers to cash in on the Masters of the Universe craze. This was a smaller line and, in total, had six action figures, four companion beasts, and four mounts. Interestingly, these figures come with color variations, both in the figures themselves and their accessories.
