Solid binding, doesn't look like its ever been read. This hardcover book is covered in a coarse beige cloth. Colored illustration on cover is bordered in blue green trim. The books edges are a deep green color. Text copyrighted in 1937 and 1938. Illustrations copyrighted 1945. Some minor shadowing on the cover and back.
