The necklace is stamped 10k on two places on the clasp, indicating solid 10k gold, as well as 'made in Italy'.

The pendant does not come off the chain. You could have it removed by your jeweler if you prefer to wear the pendant with a different length or style of chain.

The chain is 17 inches in length including the clasp and closes with a spring clasp. The heart pendant measures about an inch high by an inch across.

The necklace weighs 7.7 grams. It is in excellent vintage condition.
