Product code: Thunderbird store - Pacific NW Indian Thunderbird pillow - First Nations textile art - Tribal decor - American Indian symbol - black on red pillow

The Thunderbird is a universal spiritual creature within the Pacific Northwest Coast Indian Tribes. It represents supernatural powers and the forces behind nature. Only the most prestigious and powerful Chiefs are allowed to have the Thunderbird as a crest.

The embroidery design is stitched in bold, black, rayon thread and on high-loft, 100% vibrant red felted wool.

The pillow is hand stitched close.

Dry clean only.

The Thunderbird on the 18.5" x 18.5" pillow is 13" x 11" and the design on the 15.5" x 15.5" pillow is 11" x 9".

Please note that the shipping price below is for the larger pillow. The shipping for the smaller pillow will be adjusted. I won't be offended if you remind me!

I am a non-indigenous textile artist living in the Pacific Northwest, who finds inspiration from the original artwork and symbolism.
