Even though this necklace is understated, it expresses a quiet power. Obsidian was polished and used in ancient Mexico as store mirrors to “look at one's true self”. Russian Shungite contains almost all the minerals in the periodic table. Its origin is a mystery, some believe it's organic matter, and some, that it comes from meteorites. It's claimed that it relieves stress and inflammation.

18” non-binary necklace made with Mexican black Onyx round beads, Russian Shungite rondelles, and Obsidian barrels and cylinders. A simple 8 mm Sterling Silver ring clasp secures the necklace.

Though perfect on its own, it can be layered with a Big Mamba Necklace (Vintage Black Glass Long Necklace) for a subtly dramatic effect.
