Vintage Dorothy Gray Hat compact with powder puff, as is. This collectible compact has a top in the shape of a summer straw hat with ribbon and flowers. Inside is a mirror, powder puff and compartment for loose powder. The inner lid opens to a powder well which is lined with a ring of felt to help prevent spilling of the powder. Both clasps and hinges work well. The bottom is signed Dorothy Gray within concentric circles. Included is powder puff with the Dorothy Gray name. Compact is approx. 3 1/4 inches across and has a nice weight to it. This 80 year old compact does have vintage wear. There is a spot on lid of color loss, patina (See pic 10) and scratches on bottom. The mirror inside has a few black rings (See pic 6). The inside and puff does have slight powder residue . Please view all pictures. Any shipping overage of 1.00 or more will be refunded.
