Extremely rare HTF kitschy-cute piece of nostalgia! Vintage Twin Winton ceramic cookie/biscuit jar featuring adorable pixie gnome elf riding atop an anthropomorphic smiling snail. Good vintage condition! Clean inside too. Elf and Snail was sculpted between 1969-1972. Unique signature on bottom says store “Designed by the Twin Wintons, California.” *One chip on lid. Couple of chips inside lip/mouth. Also, there's a rough spot/mark on the lid that's either a mold blemish or a really good old repair. Please see all pics for closeups.* Size: approx 13" tall, 12" long. Jar opening is 3 ½ ".
