Offering a store absolutely gorgeous example of Fenton art glass with this antique Stag and Holly ice cream bowl. Made by The Fenton Glass Co. around 1912 this wonderful bowl depicts a handsome rough haired and long tonged stage. Fabulous detailed attention to the antler's , almond shaped eyes , tongue , and each individual hair. Alternating with the stags are branches of holly with realistic berries and veined jagged leaves. The center focal point is the holly flower itself with petals and stamens. The colors are beautiful like a rainbow. Pinks , oranges , greens , purples. Even hues in-between depending on the lighting or how you situate this bowl. Three scroll shaped toes and a scalloped/serrated edging wrap up this one of a kind find. Extremely good used vintage condition. No chips , cracks , scratches or glass stains/cloudiness. There are some bubbles and straw marks and light vintage wear in a few places.
