My brother bought these beads while he was serving in Afghanistan. Only Afghanistan and Chile have actual lapis lazuli mines. I had them strung (in Chile, where I was living) and the last 2 beads made into earrings. He brought back lots of beads and I had several sets made so I kept the one I liked the best and am selling the others. So I am the original owner. These are genuine, heavy beads, all bigger than a dime. The store necklace color is a lighter, brighter blue and the earrings are an elegant darker tone. Please see pics for details.
