Floyd Hildebrand Fishermans store Wharf Watercolor 1970

I had to take this one apart out of the frame, what I first thought was a print, turned out to be an original. Floyd (1895-1984) was a New Yorker who moved to San Francisco in the 1920s. He was very skilled and well known in the area. This is a framed piece, total size 15 x 12.5". The watercolor is matted and the actual painting is 10 x 7.25". The mat has yellowed and the painting is in store excellent condition. It features the harbor of the wharf, with boats and seagulls with the beautiful boat reflections in the water.
